So far the total provisional results available to the commission and the entire parties amount to 9,689,705 representing 34,244 polling stations out the total of 40, 976.
Out the number of provisional results, Dr. Mahmoudu Bawumiah is trailing John Dramani Mahama with close to 2 million votes.
The former president Mahama gunner 5,467,767 votes representing 56.43% as against Dr. Mahmudu Bawumiah with 3939,991 representing 41.18%.
Few other results are expected to come in by the close of the night, which is likely to change the trend. However, it will take a miracle for the incumbent to make up the difference trailed by the NPP and Dr. Bawumiah.
