With about twelve days to Ghana’s general elections for presidential and parliamentary, the unity within the camp of national democratic congress (NDC) depict the party’s resilience towards clinching unto victory, as former parliamentary candidate for Dome Kwabenya Alhaji Nurudeen Mohammed makes donation of sixty (60) Motor bikes to the office of John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer for the NDC, to complement their campaign for victory.
The consignments handing-over were received by the flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in a small handing -over ceremony with the National Coordinator of the National Zango Caucus, Alhaji Mohammed Maman, and other prominent members of the Zango Caucus Wing.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Nurudeen is also the Director of Campaign and Advocacy for the National Zango Caucus of the NDC, and according to him, he hopes his small gesture will make a significant contribution to the party’s campaign efforts ahead of the December 7th elections.
He presented 60 motorbikes to the NDC flagbearer and former President, John Dramani Mahama, as part of his commitment to ensuring a decisive victory for the party in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking at the event, Nurudeen Mohammed, who is also a member of the 17-member Working Committee of the National Zongo Caucus Wing, explained that the donation was informed by his campaign tours across the regions. During these tours, party supporters and executives repeatedly emphasized the need for improved logistics to enhance mobility and grassroots operations.
“This donation is my contribution to our collective mission of ensuring victory for the NDC and John Dramani Mahama. These motorbikes will go a long way to support the work of our coordinators and foot soldiers in the various regions,” he said.
Nurudeen also used the opportunity to call on all well-meaning members of the NDC to support the party’s efforts at all levels to achieve a resounding victory on December 7th.
The motorbikes are expected to significantly improve the mobility of party officials and volunteers, boosting campaign coordination across the country. This contribution underscores the dedication of party members to ensuring the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.
