The future of becoming young prospective Muslim female Doctor, which was nearly shuttered due to financial constrain, has been resuscitated by the former president and Flagbearer of the national democratic congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.
After the attention of the former president was drawn to the unfortunate post of young lady helping her mother to sell grilled plantain across the street, whose story touched His excellency the former president regarding her inability to continue with her medical school after gaining admission to study medicine at the university of development studies, due to inability to mobilize resources to further her education.
The former president was saddened by the development, hence, he paid a complete tuition for the remaining five years, Miss Fauzia Ali, is expected to spend at the UDS to realize her dream of becoming a medical Doctor.
The gesture of the former president on Miss Fauzia Ali is one of numerous benefit the Muslim and Non communities alike, have witnessed from the former president since he was out of office as the president of the republic.
His philanthropic conduct cut across, education, health, humanity and other social interventions.
millions worth of cash has been expended by the former president mainly on the Muslim community towards enhancement of lives and put them at par with other privileged communities.
“Fauzia Ali has been gainfully admitted into the College of Health Sciences of the UDS to pursue her dream” Scoial media is flooded with gratitude to the former president for his continuous solidarity to Ghanaians, while others are wishing him well on his quest at becoming the next president of the republic of Ghana.
Meanwhile, the relative of Fauzia Ali are filled with joy and ever grateful to John Dramani Mahama for his timely intervention on ceiling the dream of a young girl whose destiny would have been altered if he had not helped.
If you recall, Mr. John Dramani Mahama earlier this year, made supplementary donation of 1 billion to rescue the remain of a Muslim brother who died at the Ridge Hospital and his remain was detained for family’s inability to settle debt.
