The national women organizer for the national Democratic congress, Dr. Louisa Hanna Bissiw, has described the NPP government, as a set of Viruses affecting the development and progress of the republic of Ghana, that must be rid off in the December to pave way for the resetting agenda of the republic of Ghana.
Speaking on the podium of national event organized by the NDC women wing in the Ashanti region, Dr. Bissiw calls all women to action to ensure the needed country of progress and development is assured.
According to her, Women have always been historically the pivot for revival of the country and the time has come for the spirit of dedication, selflessness and commitment, exhibited by the Historic heroic Yaa Asantewaa, be resurfaced in the current women of Ghana, to redeem the country from the abysmal mismanagement and wrecking of the country’s economy.
Dr. Bissiw stressed on the poor handling of women empowerment in the country, stating the unethical taxes imposed on sanitary pad and collapsing financial sectors that crippled the sauce of funding for the SME’s , which many Ghanaian women are the patrons to.
She therefore urges Ghanaian women to put their political differences and support the agenda of the NDC to reset the country into the path of progress, transformation and development.
Dr. Bissiw also urged women to take advantage of the privilege giving to them by NDC, by consistently choosing a women as a running mate and potential vice president, who can rise to become the president of the republic of Ghana, being the first in the history where a woman will become the vice president and subsequently president.
She added that, the NDC in the past, has empowered women in various high political decision making areas, hence, the need to bring back NDC to continue on the path of equity, fairness and gender empowerment.
