Ahead of the 2024 general election, the Awutu Senya east Zango caucus team through their coordinator, Alhaji Sarki Nurudeen Mohammed is on Quran sharing spree to solicit the intervention of God for the party’s victory and peaceful transition before, during and after 2024-2025 election.
Several Hundreds of Quran were shared to different women Islamic schools in and around Awutu senya east with some sealed white envelop containing a token for procurement of white board markers to facilitate the Islamic educational needs of Muslim women in the constituency.
The coordinator hinted to heritage news online editor Yunus Swalahudeen Wakpenjo that, He believes the greatest gift you can share with brothers and sisters, is to relate them with their maker. Hence, since he became NDC zango caucus coordinator in Awutu senya east, the relationship with the Muslims has always been ways to lift their faith and develop their mental strength to stand any challenge ahead of them.
” I believe in God and so are the people i serve. i know the only gift that worth it, is to relate the people to God by sharing with them the priceless word of God. Many politicians go about sharing huge monies and items to the deceive the people, i believe power relies with God and so i share those Quran to seek God’s intervention for our candidates ahead of the election” he stressed.
Meanwhile, recipients of the intervention, expressed satisfaction and support for the victory of the party.
They pledge to relate the message of the national democratic congress to their family at home, thereby reminding the party to ensure peace before during and after the election. Recounting that, should anything go wrong in the country, they are likely to suffer the adversary.
” We Know NDC to be party of peace, we have followed politics for ages and we know how NDC are peace loving. we want you to continue, keep selling your message, do the needful but don’t contribute to anything that would destroy the peace of the country” the added.
The coordinator and his team also engages with the youth in various Muslim communities as well as the elders, preaching to them the promising sections of the NDC manifesto that will bring reforms into the economic needs of the country and protection of the socio-religious -political fiber of the country.
Currently, the NDC is making massive stride in various communities in Awutu senya east, activities of the Zango caucus in the constituency is gradually making the ruling NPP unpopular in the region.
The NDC currently have 5000 votes deficit going into 2024 election, but the party in the region believes it is redeemable.
