The Central regional youth wing of the national Democratic congress (NDC) has launched the 2024 house to house youth campaign at the Odukponkpehe government school in the Awutu senya east constituency during the weekend. The event gingered the youth base in the region as youth from various constituencies gathered to witness the launching.
the reinvigorated youth of the party chant party’s slogan and victory songs and anthems on the podium to mark the beginning of what they described as the moment of victory for the party in the upcoming general election.
heritage news eagle ear reveals that, the launching was done in Awutu senya east, to help build a strong political case for the two times parliamentary candidate Phillis Naa Koryoo.
Her first attempt witness a massive appreciation in the vote of the NDC in 2020 , the party is hopeful, she is the energized candidate who can wrestle the seat the party in the region is striving for since the split of the constituency from Afutu constituency to Awutu senya east in 2012.
Madam Naa koryoo has urged the youth to work assiduously to ensure the victory of his excellency John Dramani Mahama as well us win the Awutu senya east constituency for the first time in 12 years.
she stress on the need for Ghanaians to bring back John Dramani Mahama to come and put the country back to the path of progress and development as it was before 2017.
” I tell you to vote mahama and he will come and rebuild what the “Animal ” has destroyed” she charged the youth.
She also hinted on the new Islamic hospital that will be established in the new NDC administration to cater for the health needs of Muslim women in a distinct manner that suit the Islamic requirement. she is therefore urging the Youth to vote for their destiny, for 24 hour economy and vote for a leader with vision to put Ghana back to work.
The vibrant young academician and vociferous, has been making the political atmosphere hotter for the sitting member of parliament since she was elected by NDC to stand in the party’s ticket to wrestle the seat. During her last election she closed the gap margin with about 5000 vote from the deficit of about 10000. hence, giving the party the confidence of winning the seat if they work together as a region and party with a common sense of focus.
