Flagbearer of the new patriotic party, Dr Mahmoud Bawumiah has described the economic policy of John Dramani Mahama as empty.
During his familiarity tour in the north east region, Dr. Mahmoudu Bawumiah has vowed to expose the emptiness of the economic policy of the 2024 flag bearer of the national democratic congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, if his people pave way for a debate on the economy and good governance.
” I am looking forward to a debate with John Mahama on the economy, on the country, on the governance. But am afraid he is running away from a debate. his people say he doesn’t want to debate. but he he afraid i will expose the emptiness of his policy”
” he says he has his 24 hour economy that he cannot explain. Is as empty as empty barrel” added.
But he quickly added that, if Mr. Mahama chooses not to debate, he will go ahead to sell his message to the people for them to make a choice out the options available.
meanwhile, the electoral commission is yet to open a filing of candidates for 2024 elections, both presidential and parliamentary. however, score of the candidates have already taking various platforms to canvas for vote ahead of the crucial election.
The 2024 historic election in this fourth republic will either be for the ruling party to break the traditional eight that has been the convention since the inception of the fourth republic. Or the convention will be sustained. where a new set of administration will be constituted for 2025.
