Ablakwa testing some of the covid19 kits

Member of Parliament for north tongu, in the volta region of Ghana,  Okudzeto Ablakwa, has taken a new dimension to relay his benevolence and logistic achievement to his constituents as part of fulfillment of promise and taking care of their social welfare for the month of January, barley a month since his mandate was renewed by his constituents after the December 2020 polls.

The legislator, on his face book page flaunted some exciting benevolence that comes as a relief to his constituents. In his enumerated efforts, Ablakwa stated that;

“  In our first month for this new term as MP of my beloved North Tongu: we have granted 75 scholarships to tertiary students, completed all medical obligations towards victims of the Fodzoku/Torgome road accident, connected potable water and provided a giant poly tank for the village of Salaga”

He also mentioned some assistance being provided to the people of Aveyime in his quest to promote lesser known sports among his people. While providing hundreds of life jackets for sailors and travelers using the rivers across his constituency.

Persons with disabilities were also not left out of the kind gesture of their member of parliament.

He said in his post;

“we are assisting the youth of Aveyime construct a new volleyball court, donated hundreds of life jackets to all river crossing points, distributed free wheelchairs to all PWDs, constructed a new transport station at Dorfor-Kpomkpo, ordered more laptops for tertiary students and organized a musical talent discovery and support programme which has secured quite some lucrative agreements for our young talents”.

He has however asserted that, February promises to be even more exciting, as his office is just warming up with stunt achievement for the month of January. Reiterating that, he shall keep the promise he made to his people and will not let them down. 

Ordinarily, Ablakwa is noted for directly touching various lives of his constituents with logistics and supports, relevant to their everyday lives, since 2012 when elected as Member of Parliament for the people of north Tongu.
