The country Ghana has recorded number 8,070 cases of persons affected by covid 19. The rate of increase seems rapid, yet, the government of Ghana has decided to ease restriction amidst the rise in recorded cases.
On Sunday night, the president has eased restriction on some major activities, though not financial, and it is not clear what the president seeks with the decision to ease those restrictions when the number keeps soaring.
Currently, the country has about 8, 070 confirmed cases, 2,841 recoveries, and 36 death.

Meanwhile, many health professionals and political and social analyst have differed with the president of Ghana, in what he has described as ‘first phase of easing restriction’, describing his move as premature.
Some few others have also attributed his decision to political influence, to enable the electoral commission of Ghana, carry on with their intent to compile new voter roll.
Either way, the president has entreated Ghanaians to ensure safety protocols as the safe easing of restriction is in place to avert in form of escalation.
there is however a huge price to pay, if safe restriction goes wrong and Ghanaians fail to adhere strictly to safety protocols.
